Greetings Silly Geckos,

First of all, we are very sorry to have kept you unaware for such a long time, and we apologize for that.

A lot of things happened during the time we were apart from you. We caught Covid-19 in the beginning and got through it pretty hard. When we got over the disease and came back, we worked on the things that were in the background and provided the basis of the roadmap.

Although our work progressed quite positively, we had to share them on the Ethereum network to present them to you. However, since we could not generate any income from the sale of our collection, we realized that we could not do anything for now to run them on the Ethereum network and realize the roadmap.

Frankly, that’s why we wanted to postpone writing this article because we were so disappointed and really depressed. For the Silly Gecko Gang project, which we have been working on for months, we have used all the material and moral resources we have. So much so that our project, which we have been working on for months, cost us about 10 months and a few thousand dollars. After a while, we wanted to stop targeting an income from our Silly Geckos and just work for the community, which we did for quite some time, but without financial support, we were unable to sustain, let alone move forward, what we wanted to build.

At the same time, as former NFT collectors (we sold all of our collections to fund our geckos), we can only imagine how bad this news might seem to you. Even if you got your geckos for free, you paid a gas fee and you had fair expectations from us. Balsy and I ( Vind ) have always tried to be transparent with you. We always wanted to hear from us correctly what we did and could not do, this was important to us. We did our best to support this project. In order not to be embarrassed or lie to you, we continued to invest until the next few years were financially impossible.

While we were chatting with you, we were always trying to seem positive and cheerful, we dealt with the material / moral or development problems in the background, it was really difficult to do this. We are proud of the Silly Gecko Gang collection that we have created at the point where we are now, we are very comfortable as we do our best conscientiously. While most of the roadmap milestones such as Geckoverse, blockchain game, chirp that we did not show you and worked in the background were ready, it was quite annoying not being able to support them financially. We are not over this disappointment yet, we just thought that we did our best and you should know where we are now.

Unless positive things happen for our Silly Geckos in the future, we will regretfully have to suspend our support. Thank you for being with us, believing in us and supporting us. Thanks for everything.
